Santa Paws

Pets, naughty or nice, can have their holiday photos taken with Santa and Mrs. Paws to benefit the Hawaiian Humane Society.

For a $25 donation, pets can have a photo session with a professional photographer. That includes a CD with all images that can be taken home that day.

Holiday hats, antlers, and other accessories for dress up are available.

The photo sessions will be held at the Humane Society's garden:

• Saturday, November 20, 2010 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sunday, November 21, 2010 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Saturday, December 4, 2010 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sunday, December 5, 2010 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Donations support the Humane Society's efforts in preventing animal cruelty, placing homeless animals with families and teaching children compassion for animals.

The Humane Society will also have on hand holiday gifts for pet lovers, including 2010 calendars, T-shirts and gift certificates.

Donate Pet Toys for Holiday Adoptions

Donations of new pet toys are being accepted from now through December so that every animal adopted during the holidays gets a gift. Donations can be dropped off all day, every day at the shelter or at these locations.
