Emergency Pet Fostering

When caring for a pet becomes difficult because of a person's illness or an emergency situation, Pals volunteers help by providing temporary pet care. Care can include feeding, grooming, dog walking, litter box and small cage cleaning and rides to the veterinarian.

Pals services are available to the elderly, those temporarily hospitalized, the disabled and victims of domestic violence. Services are provided in your home or a foster care home by Humane Society volunteers free of charge. Food and veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the pet owner. Services are dependent on the availability of volunteers.
