Help Oahu’s youth become future leaders that are compassionate, civic minded and of strong character. The Hawaiian Humane Society aims to teach children empathy, kindness and respect for all living creatures.

Here are a few of our offerings:

• Free supplementary humane curriculum available to all Oahu educators.
• Service learning ideas for schools, grade-levels and organizations.
• No-cost self guided shelter tours for organized groups and schools.
• Partnerships and service learning opportunities for middle and high school aged youth groups in Oahu’s underserved and at-risk communities.
• Special teen programs during school breaks and furlough Fridays.
• Reading for Life suggested book list for all ages.
