HB108: Cruelty to Animals
Similar language from SB2492 to set minimum standards of care for those who own more than 10 dogs. Additionally this measure would license dog breeders and ensure animals sold in pet stores are licensed and microchipped.

SB2503: Cruelty to Animals
SB2503 SD2 HD1 has been signed by Governor Abercrombie and is now Act 025.
Extends procedures for impoundment and forfeiture for cruelty to animal offense to equines off spring of animal rescued, allows restitution for attorney fees.

SB2486: Terroristic Threatening
Clarifies that terroristic threatening includes threats of serious damage to another person's pets or livestock.

HB2296: Welfare Protection of Bears
HB2296 HD1 SD1 has been transmitted to Governor Abercrombie.
Prohibits the purchase, sale, transportation, and delivery of any product, item, or substance containing, labeled, or advertised as containing bear gallbladders or bile.

SB2492: Increasing Standards of Care for More than 10 Dogs
This bill is no longer active. Language regenerated in HB108.
Residents are only allowed to own 10 dogs unless they live on agriculturally zoned land. Large scale breeding operations often thrive in these areas that are exempt. This bill aims to increase standards of care for all who have more than 10 dogs, which include housing requirements, exercise provisions and veterinary care.
